Obama And The Ghosts Of 9/11
In this painting, Dick Cheney is seen trying to crush the conspiracy theory that says the Twin Towers actually fell due to a flaming red hot jalapeno that he, himself, placed in the basement of each building, and which were set to explode at his evil command. This theory probably isn't true but for the past few years since that horrible day in 2001, I've noticed how conspiracies about what REALLY happened ON 9-11 and who was responsible have become more accepted as mainstream. At first it seemed that those who said the government was somehow responsible, or at least that they conspired to let it happen, were considered to be mentally ill and their ravings were deemed as ludicrous. But in the years that followed, as the Bush administration continued on their course of war and violation of human and civil rights and liberties, it seemed to become more believable to many Americans that perhaps there was some truth in the fact that the official story of 9-11 is not entirely accurate. Many Americans seemed to become more amenable to the idea that perhaps our own government would be willing to kill its own people, endanger the lives of our own brave firemen, policemen, soldiers and businessmen for the sake of justifying a "War on Terror" whose result was simply invading another country, Iraq, for their OIL? And who benefits from these profits? Is it you and me? The last I heard, the price of gasoline is going up, not down. . . . .. . . click here to read moreLabels: 911, conspiracy_theories, obama_art
