Jesse Jackson: "I'm Snippin' Off Your Nuts"
I, like many other millions of my fellow Americans was shocked, horrified, and even a little AMUSED (hahahaha) to hear Jesse Jackson's ominous whisperings regarding Obama's testicles that were recorded on a "hot mic" during an interview on FOX NEWS. I first heard about it on CNN from Wolf Blitzer when the story first broke. Wolf was saying the word Jackson uttered was "obscene" and "so crude it cannot be said on television". When I found out later on that the word was "nuts" I admittedly had to giggle. Many anti-Obama people use the term "Obamabots" to reference what they perceive as Barack's robotic, mindless followers. Now we have the OBAMANUTS!! Hahahahahaa! I would love to see Jesse Jackson now make a rap album, record a song with the chorus "I'm snippin' off your nuts. I'm snippin' off your nuts." Hahahahaa. I'm definitely going to have to use this incident as inspiration for a future "Obama Taco Underwear" series painting. I don't really get the beef Jackson has with Obama. Many are saying he took offense to Barack's recent Father's Day speech at a black church. In this speech Barack urged black fathers to quit being "Missing in Action" and "AWOL" when it comes to raising their kids. I guess Jackson doesn't like the idea of black fathers taking personal responsibility for their children? Does he have some other strange idea in mind, that instead of staying with their children and helping to raise them, that black fathers should have their "nuts" chopped off so that they can't have any more kids? Is THAT Jesse Jackson's solution? And he wants to start with Barack? Does Barack have an illegitimate child somewhere that he isn't taking care of, that Jackson knows about but the world doesn't, that is cause for Jackson to deem Obama hypocritical?
I don't really know. Obama's speech on Father's Day seemed like a very good one to me with an uplifting, inspiring and motivating message. It was a common sense message that should appeal to both parties. Jackson's old school thinking seems to emphasise the effects of the environment and oppressive policies of the system to explain the sufferings of blacks and I guess he doesn't like to hear Barack blaming black people, themselves? I personally think both outer and inner factors relate to the problems of any race, so why can't Jackson and Obama just work together? I respect Jesse Jackson as an icon in the civil rights movement. He's got alot of guts and has done alot of good things for social justice; I just think maybe he needs to meet Barack in the middle somewhere and make a little room for some new blood; while at the same time maybe chilling out on the castration comments! Geez!
