Jeremiah Wright And King Kong

This painting is meant to document the Reverend Wright/Trinity United Church part of Obama's presidential campaign story while also addressing aspects of racism and xenophobia which were raised after explosive, cherry-picked snippets of some of Reverend Wright's sermons were broadcast on YouTube and made national headlines.
